What do you think?

Neat, I'll give this and the other one a play and see how it goes.

A parody game combining Dragon Quest, Hyperdimension Neptunia, and a few surprise franchises, this game is a direct sequel to Neptune Quest's true ending.

Play as Neptune, the human adventurer from the Ultradimension, as she travels with her trusty companion Croire across the vast world of Torland. Meet and befriend the CPUs from the Ultradimension, reunite with your traveling friend Uzume, and figure out the meaning behind the sudden change in the timeline before it's too late.

Currently only chapter 1 is complete.  This game is actively being developed.

This game is made using RPG Maker VX Ace.  It features an active combat system that incorporates dodging. blocking and similar mechanics; original and re-imagined maps from Dragon Quest 2; a full crafting and upgrade system; fleshed-out characters with interpersonal relationships; and consequences for failure.

Please support the official games and franchises - Dragon Quest, Neptunia, and any other games that are showcased here.

Chapter 1 is in testing! All goes well, consider it to be ready to download and play before New Year's

Finally managed to finish the FULL layout of the first dungeon in Neptune Quest Ultra. Work left before chapter 1's available to play: Dungeon flow, Enemy design, Boss battle mechanics, Challenge area, Script all NPCs, Record lines, Game over screen

Scrapped the battler positions, but keeping the system. Combat works again!!! Now to make sure the rest works as planned...

All goes well I might be releasing this one in chapters, bit-by-bit.

In trying to make the battle system work I have succeeded in making the whole thing crash. Repeatedly. ARGH.

In the meantime solidifying maps and art bits. All goes well, once battle works I can get a playable chapter 1 going.

Battle system is taking some time to nail down operation and method - expect a significant departure from the prequel.

Game world map has been completed; towns and dungeons are in development. UI and battle system concept are decided; coding battle system functions is in process. Expect this game to behave much more responsively than its predecessor!
